All Staff

Objectives drive what CRGI Solutions aims to achieve. Every team member plays a direct role in meeting these targets through the quality of their work, adherence to procedures, and active participation in continuous improvement. Understanding your contribution is essential to our success.

What Are Objectives in an IMS Context?

Objectives are measurable targets that support our Integrated Management System (IMS) policy across three core areas: quality, environment, and health & safety. They define what we're working towards and enable us to track performance systematically.

ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 all require that objectives are: - Aligned with our policy commitments - Specific and measurable (not vague aspirations) - Monitored through regular performance checks - Communicated clearly to all staff - Reviewed and updated as the business evolves

CRGI's Objective Areas

Our current measurable objectives include: - H&S: Zero lost-time incidents annually - Quality: Client satisfaction rating ≥90% - Quality: Design rework rate <2% (catching errors early) - Training: 100% of mandatory training completed on schedule - Environment: 8% reduction in annual energy consumption - Environment: 15% reduction in waste sent to landfill - Audit Compliance: All corrective action findings closed within 60 days

These targets are ambitious but achievable when we all do our part.

How Objectives Are Set

Our management team sets objectives annually through the management review process (HPROC13). This review examines: - Regulatory requirements and industry best practice - Stakeholder feedback, including client expectations - Performance against previous year's targets - Resource availability and capability

Once set, objectives cascade to departments and individual roles, ensuring alignment from top to bottom.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

KPIs are the measurable metrics we track to monitor progress against objectives. For example: - Near-miss reports submitted per month - Client feedback scores from post-project surveys - Energy consumption (kWh) month-on-month - Training completion rates by department - Audit action closure timelines

We review KPI data monthly to identify trends early and take corrective action if we're drifting off target.

Your Role in Meeting Objectives

You contribute directly through: - Quality work: Follow design procedures (HPROC05) and avoid rework - Compliance: Adhere to procedures every time—shortcuts undermine our standards - Reporting: Log all incidents, near misses, and hazards in HREG01 - Training: Complete mandatory training on time—it keeps you and the team competent - Feedback: Share client feedback and speak up about operational issues - Suggestions: Raise improvement ideas with your line manager

Continual Improvement

Continual improvement isn't about blame or finding fault. It's about identifying where we can do better and making changes to prevent problems recurring. Small improvements across the team add up to significant performance gains.

If you notice something that could work better, raise it. Options include: - Informal discussion with your line manager - Formal corrective action process (HPROC14) for systemic issues - Suggestion log during team meetings

The Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle

Our improvement approach follows a simple cycle: 1. Plan: Identify improvement opportunity and plan the change 2. Do: Implement the change on a controlled basis 3. Check: Monitor results and verify effectiveness 4. Act: Standardize if successful, or adjust and retry if not

This cycle prevents us making rushed changes that create new problems.

Management Review & Performance

At quarterly and annual reviews, the leadership team: - Assessees KPI data against targets - Reviews closure of corrective actions (HREG08) - Identifies emerging risks or opportunities - Allocates resources to support objectives - Sets new targets for the coming period

Non-conformances and corrective actions are tracked in HREG08 and monitored until closure.

Everyone Contributes

Your daily decisions—how carefully you check your work, whether you report a near miss, if you complete training on time—directly affect whether CRGI meets its objectives. When objectives are achieved, it reflects well on the entire organization and supports our reputation with clients.
