Policy Statement¶
CRGI Solutions requires all staff to be fit for duty when undertaking work. Working under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. As a virtual consultancy whose staff access safety-critical design systems remotely, impairment presents unacceptable risks to the quality and safety of our engineering outputs.
Key Requirements¶
- Staff shall not work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs judgement or capability.
- Possession of illegal substances during any CRGI work activity, including client site visits, is prohibited.
- Staff taking prescribed or over-the-counter medication that may affect their ability to work safely shall inform the Operations Manager.
- Staff who are unfit for duty shall not access CRGI systems or attend client sites until fit to resume work.
- CRGI Solutions recognises substance misuse as a health issue and shall provide confidential support to staff who voluntarily seek assistance.
- Breaches of this policy may result in immediate suspension, investigation, and disciplinary action up to termination of engagement.
