Policy Statement

CRGI Solutions is committed to protecting the environment, preventing pollution, and fulfilling our compliance obligations. As a virtual consultancy, our direct environmental impact is relatively low, but we recognise our responsibility to minimise resource consumption, manage waste effectively, and promote sustainable design principles in the engineering solutions we deliver to clients.

Key Requirements

  1. Environmental aspects and impacts shall be identified, assessed, and recorded in the environmental aspects register.
  2. Significant environmental aspects shall have controls in place to prevent or mitigate adverse impacts.
  3. A life cycle perspective shall be applied when identifying environmental aspects of our services.
  4. Energy consumption shall be monitored and reduced where practicable, particularly relating to IT infrastructure and virtual operations.
  5. Waste shall be minimised, segregated, and disposed of in accordance with the waste hierarchy and legal requirements.
  6. Sustainable design principles shall be promoted in all engineering projects, considering environmental impact during construction, operation, and decommissioning.
  7. Environmental compliance obligations shall be identified, maintained in the legal compliance register, and evaluated at planned intervals.
  8. Environmental objectives shall be set annually, targeting energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable design outcomes.
  9. Environmental incidents and near misses shall be reported, investigated, and corrected.
